The following are templates that I designed for our website template gallery at Next! Ad Agency. Clients have the ability to pick one of the templates provided and then the designer customizes the template to fit each clients business needs. Each template was created with responsive design in mind. All templates will eventually work in desktop, tablet and mobile.
This project is a proposed rebranding of an established luxury dog kennel, known as VIP's Pet Hotels located in Chicago, IL. The kennel is known for its grand and luxurious stays created specifically for dogs and includes grooming, training, and even Skype to keep dogs in touch with their owners. The logo is supposed to show sophistication while also maintaining a level of quirky-ness.
Dare To Be Great
Dare To Be Great is an annual womens' gymnastic meet hosted by Bright Raven Gymnastics. Each year I am given the task of designing their collateral for the event. To the left you can find the design I created for the 2014 gymnastics meet on medals and t-shirts.
Start Your Own
"Start Your Own" is an all-in-one piece including seeds, plant markers, gardening gloves and trowel to allow people to start their own vegetable gardens. This project is a promotional tool to help people realize the benefits of growing their own goods, while giving them the tools to easily get the ball rolling.
Design Inspires My Election, also known as DI(ME), was a campaign initiated by my design class at SUNY Fredonia that questions the idea of how design has the ability to effect our politics. Working alongside the Political Science Department at SUNY Fredonia, our class created a series of posters that were exhibited in the school library during the week of the election.
This poster was designed for SUNY Fredonia's Earth Week sponsored by the school's Sustainability Committee. My poster was selected, along with a few of my classmates, to be mass produced and posted around campus to help promote the town wide event.
This piece is a redesigned A-Z guide on how to succeed with house plants. The content of the piece came from a vintage Reader's Digest book from the early 1980s. The plant markers were created in addition to the book to provide further information and instruction for plant growers.
This poster is an attempt to verbally and visually capture the general idea of my design process as a designer.
The Vagina Monologues
As an organizer of the 2011 production of The Vagina Monologues at SUNY Fredonia, I had to take on a number of tasks - from reserving the event space, to dealing with financial matters. In addition to my normal organizer duties, I created a poster for the show. The poster was placed around the campus and community to advertise the empowering event.
Brockport Art Festival
During the summer of 2010, I did freelance work designing covers of special sections of the Suburban News in Rochester, NY. This is the cover I designed for the Annual Brockport Summer Art Festival.
